Resurrection Cemetery is more than a consecrated location for interment of our departed loved ones. The cemetery is a ministry of the Catholic Diocese of St. Petersburg, where mausoleums and cremation niches are sparsely placed within the natural wooded lands of a 120-acre nature preserve.
Heritage structures are crafted of steel-reinforced concrete and clad with solid granite. Phase one includes 1,784 spaces for caskets and 1,776 niche spaces for cremains. Memorial Counselors are located at the on-site office to provide tours, answer your questions and assist with your needs.
The office at Resurrection Cemetery is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
You might think that a nature preserve would be distant from population areas, but Resurrection Cemetery is a slice of near-pristine, native landscape conveniently located within Hillsborough County.
